A bit about us
At BIT5IVE, a leading cryptocurrency mining data center and bitcoin farm company, we sell, host, and support the most advanced cryptocurrency hardware available on the market, creating a user-friendly experience for all of our clients. We are constantly researching and building the most advanced hardware to provide the best possible performance for our clients. Our outstanding support staff has the most efficient response time in the industry.
Bit5ive has been deploying miners since 2015 with operations in the Northwestern United States and Europe, with further expansion throughout Scandinavia and beyond. We are rapidly evolving into the largest US-based company in the cryptocurrency mining and bitcoin farm industry.
Unlike traditional cryptocurrency mining data centers and bitcoin farms, where you lease hash rate on annual contracts, with Bit5ive you own the hardware outright and your monthly fee covers electrical costs, network, support, insurance, and warranty. Our focus is providing large financial institutional clients, private investors, and individual clients with a user friendly approach to cryptocurrency mining solutions.
Robert D. Collazo Jr
Founder | CEO
Robert Collazo Jr. began his career in the entertainment industry where he worked in the capacity of manager, owner, and operator for various Miami institutions. He later moved on to the real estate industry, where he spearheaded Koala Realty, Koala Mortgage, and Milazo Group Developments, which specialized in large scale land acquisitions and home construction. In 2013, he began learning about crypto currency. What started as a hobby has now evolved into a full-scale, global business. Bit5ive focuses on large, institutional clients and private investors that wish to enter into the cryptocurrency mining space. The company’s success lies in their turn-key approach to an industry otherwise riddled with unnecessary intrigue. From a young age Antonio Oliveira developed an interest in the technology field, spending a lot of time learning about its intricacies. This experience led him to provide operations and management consulting to the hospitality and technology industries for over 10 years. In 2009 what started as a hobby became Antonio’s first endeavor into the crypto currency industry. Four years later Antonio entered into a partnership with Robert Collazo, who was then also establishing himself in the crypto currency industry. Together Antonio and Robert opened and operated the first Bitcoin mining farm in Miami, Florida which consisted of over 450 miners. Executive Vice President
Born in Long Island, NY, John Fortini grew up passionate about finance. He moved to Miami in 2009 to pursue a career in hospitality and operations. In 2012, John met Robert Collazo and the two have worked together ever since. With Robert’s support and influence, he transitioned into the crypto currency industry, which provided more structure and stability for him and his family. In 2017, John joined Bit5ive as Executive VP, spearheading growth and sales on the personal and institutional level. John has be integral in finding future locations and projects as well as developing the company’s turnkey approach, which has become the cornerstone of Bit5ive.
Moving to Miami in the middle of 1997 ostensibly to go to university, Dan quickly found himself immersed in Miami’s then-vibrant entertainment scene, starting out as a photo and video producer for a major entertainment website and several venues, but quickly found himself being called on for critical technical support duties by several local entertainment venues. Beneath the glitter and sheen of the venue’s public images, he found often cut-rate and budget IT infrastructure housed in adverse conditions, which was an out-of-school educational experience all it’s own. Because of this, Dan learned how to keep often-uncooperative computer systems going, in the toughest of environments.
It was through his involvement in the Miami entertainment industry that he met everyone who is now involved at Bit5ive, where he is now an operating partner and the lead of the support and mining deployment teams, where he takes a hands-on approach to these tasks, which do involve working in adverse conditions such as north of the Arctic Circle at Bit5ive’s Älvsbyn data center.
